After receiving a wild card earlier in the day, team Voltage celebrated by drinking some Gatorade during warmup to todays race "Dulu - Dulu".
The race itself was a cracker! It came down to a mass sprint. Nabeel Marzuq was Voltage's lead out sprinter. As he gave it max effort with 350m to go, captain Hannes Jönsson knew his legs weren't 100%.
In the end Jönsson ended up finishing a respectable 3rd. Marzuq managed to fly over the finish line as number five.
After the race team manager Mr. Strom was somewhat happy with the result. "Two riders in the top 5, and three riders in the top 10 isn't bad. But I think Jönsson would beat Görges (1st) and Saloio (2nd) nine times out of ten."
The team had a little celebration after the race. But Strom said that the team would not be wearing the party hats for long. "I'll give them tonight. But come monday, it's full focus on the future.
